Australia's Biggest Morning Tea is one of the Cancer Council’s most popular fundraising events which brings the community together each year for some tea and treats and helps to raise vital money for people affected by cancer.
The community is invited to attend Scone’s Biggest Morning Tea which will be held at the Uniting Church Hall in Kingdon Street on Thursday May 24 from 9am to 12pm.
Scone Cancer Support Group president June Day is encouraging everyone to come and take a little ‘time out’ to have a cuppa with friends.
“There will be a trading table with homemade cakes, slices and craft,” she said.
Mark Hughes Foundation beanies will also be on sale on the day.
“Scone Cancer Support Group would like to thank the first class children at St Mary’s School, Scone Grammar School and the Scone Public School for the wonderful colouring in they have done for the display to promote Biggest Morning tea.”
The display is currently featured in Coles Supermarket.
