SCONE Neighbourhood Resource Centre manager Lee Watts has dubbed Wednesday's 'Connect Day' a success, thanking those that volunteered their time to make it happen.

"We were very excited by the response to our Connect Day," she said.
"A range of services were on hand to provide information and resources.
"We are very thankful to local businesses that volunteered their time to support everyone that attended the day."
Mrs Watts thanked Rachel's Hair & Beauty for providing free haircuts and blow dries, Boutique Beauty by Sherryn who provided massages and Karen' for her feet podiatry.
"This day is a way to have time away from the pressures of daily living," she said.
"This was our third year organising the event and we will continue the day as an annual event which we hope will continue to grow."
On top of free pampering, the event also included a range of service providers in the areas of Mental Health, Home Care, Community Services, Youth Services, Homeless support, NDIS Planning, Disabilities, Youth Employment, Funeral services.
