The under-13s side finished top of the table by eight points, stamping their dominance on the eight team competition.
Unfortunately, they were unable to continue their form in the first week of finals, going down 1-2 to Barnsley at Victoria Park in Muswellbrook.
But they are now reaping the benefits of being the strongest team all year, as they look to make the most of their double chance against Tilligerry this Saturday.
Their coach Adam Whitley, who has gained plaudits for his efforts this year, heaped praise on the squad's tenacity and consistency throughout 2019.
"Their continual commitment to turning up to training and games is showing in their on field performance and they're learning every week, and they are able to improvise if required to tailor their play to overcome their opposition," she said.
"They're just going from strength to strength in what they're learning and as a coach it's a really positive experience to see them develop the way that they are."
The team has a mix of new and experiences players - well, as experienced as a 13-year-old can get - and that's been cause for much excitement within the group huddles according to Whitley.
"There's a couple of them that are there for the first time and some of them were part of our premiership winning team last year," he explained.
"But generally they're all very pumped for the games to come and just keen to get our there and do their best, to give 100 per cent of what they've got for them and their teammates."
Even though this season is only just coming to an end, the coach and club president said the groundwork was already being laid for next campaign, showing that following and playing football is truly an all-year effort.
