The winner on Thursday, July 2, was Annie Woods who did best in the windy conditions finishing with 76 nett.
This saw her claim the Melanie's Jewellers voucher.
The ball winners were Annie Woods 32, Julie Leckie 30 and Lyn Banks 29 points.
In the 18-hole medley stableford Dan Malone had a good round of 38 points to be the victor with balls going to Malone 38, David Adams 36, Jeff Harrington 35, Jock O'Connor, Garry Taylor, Geoff Barton 33 and Robert Ryan 32.
Another big field braved some wintery conditions on Saturday, July 4.
It was a cold day with significant wind being a factor throughout proceedings.
Nine visitors from six clubs were welcomed in the competition.
Members played for the Scone RSL Group Monthly Mug decided by the best nett score, and three grade prizes were given on the stableford scores.
Three players had very good rounds but David O'Donnell had the best to win the Mug with 68 nett, by one shot from both Wes Boyd and Brad Baker who finished with 69 nett.
Boyd won the A grade prize with 39 points and Baker C grade with 40 points.
B grade was also a close affair with Tony O'Neill edging out Alan Wood on a countback when they both had 36 points.
Round two of the President's Trophy was also played.
Boyd was the clear winner with rounds of 43 and 39 points for a total of 82.
Second place was Luke Stevens who shot 37 and 35 points.
The ball winners were: Brad Baker, David O'Donnell 40, Wes Boyd 39, Matt Hobbs, Paul Reeves (V) 38, Tony O'Neill, Alan Wood, Lindsay Hodge 36, Paul Muir (V), Mick Alsleben, Luke Stevens, John Roe, George Davidson, Dan Malone 35, Jock O'Connor, Warren Styles, Nick Hinde, Stuart Dawson, Andrew Clydsdale 34, Steve Morse, Rod Spratt, Lyn Banks, Brenan Reeves 33, Garry Taylor and Chris Wilson 32 points on a countback from four others.
On Thursday, July 9, the ladies will play a stableford event for prizes kindly donated by Sophistacut.
On Saturday, July 11, an individual stableford event will be sponsored by the O'Donnell family and it will be the first round of the Isis Motel FBBB Championships in conjunction.
The final round will be played on July 25.
The last round of the A grade Hunter River District pennants will be at Cypress Lakes on Sunday, July 12, when the team will play against Muswellbrook.
The Scone ladies are looking forward to round one of the annual interclub team challenge to be hosted by Muswellbrook on Saturday, July 18.
The Kevans Knockout second round has been extended, now needing to be completed by Saturday, July 18.
Also by July 11, players need to nominate for the Snyman FB Knockout with the first 16 pairs to nominate qualifying for the draw.
